Denny’s is hoping to hit a grand slam with their new celebrity-filled web series, “Always Open.” The American diner and family restaurant is launching the Denny’s-set talk show with stars like Kristen Bell, Amy Poehler, and Jason Bateman.

Hosted by David Koechner (“The Office,” “Anchorman”), celebs hit the booth of an actual working Denny’s restaurant, complete with interaction from diners and employees, for the “anything-goes” interview.

The first episode of “Always Open” is available for viewing at www.collegehumor.com/alwaysopen, with first guest Jason Bateman, of “The Switch” and the upcoming “Horrible Bosses.”

Also lined up for upcoming episodes are “You Again” star Kristin Bell, Will Forte, Amy Poehler, Sarah Silverman, and Will Arnett.

Denny’s partnered up with Bateman and Arnett’s digital content and production studio DumbDumb, for the videos, which can be accessed through College Humor, Denny’s, and YouTube.

“We at DumbDumb are excited to be partnering with Denny’s in delivering a talent like Dave Koechner within a format that’s perfectly suited to showcase his unique comedic slant,” said Will Arnett and Jason Bateman.

“Going forward, we hope that ‘Always Open’ establishes itself as a natural destination for many of today’s top figures in the entertainment industry,” they continued. “Frankly, we think this show is a grand slamwich.”

Upcoming episodes of “Always Open” are set to debut on Wednesday, March 23rd and Wednesday, April 6th.

Sources confirm to me exclusively that the supremely talented Kristen Bell is eying a return to the small screen in the buzzy Showtime pilot House of Lies.

The ex-Veronica Mars sleuth joins Don Cheadle (Hotel Rwanda) and Dawn Olivieri (Heroes) in the dark comedy, which revolves around dueling corporate management consulting firms. Bell will play Jeannie, a razor-sharp Brown grad who reluctantly finds herself attracted to her co-worker Marty (Cheadle).

Matthew Carnahan (Dirt) is spearheading the prospective series, an adaptation of Martin Kihn’s best-selling tell-all tome Lies: How Management Consultants Steal Your Watch and Tell You the Time.

As far as pilot castings go, this one is going to be tough to top.

E! News has exclusively learned from Neutrogena that the Burlesque star will be the face of the company’s new Neutrogena Naturals line.

Neutrogena isn’t releasing any further details of the deal, including when the campaign will even officially launch, though a source tells E! News that the 30-year-old actress has already shot the print, TV and online ads, and reportedly earned somewhere in the $500,000 range for the gig.

“She’s got an all-American look that is very relatable for a lot of women,” says one of our sources. “She is a great fit for the brand.”

With the support of a Vatican imprimatur, a celebrity voiced audio production of the New Testament is set to be released this week.

The audio series, featuring celebrities such as Neil McDonough, Julia Ormand and Kristen Bell, was produced by New York Times bestselling author and broadcast journalist for EWTN, Raymond Arroyo.

Available on November 1, the 18-CD, 22-hour series is called Truth & Life Dramatized Audio Bible New Testament, with contributions from over 70 actors.

“They’re not just reading,” Arroyo explained, “these actors are performing, sharing these stories in the same way they were originally communicated – passed from person to person as part of an oral tradition.”

Talk about putting the Vania before the Transyl: NBC and Pushing Daisies mastermind Bryan Fuller are in the very early stages of developing a reboot of the creepshow classic The Munsters, but there’s already a fervent fan movement under way to get Kristen Bell cast as Marilyn. And one of those fans is Fuller himself!

“Are you kidding me?” he enthuses of the Veronica Mars powerhouse. “Kristen would be perfect.”

Coincidentally, Fuller says the Munster clan’s “plain” cousin will be much more pivotal than she was in the ’60s original. “She is our eyes into the world,” he explains, “in the sense that we all can relate to our families exhibiting some level of monstrous behavior.” (Also playing a larger role: Eddie’s pet dragon, Spot.)

Fuller plans to fashion his Munsters update as a cross between Modern Family and True Blood. “This version has teeth and isn’t afraid to use them,” he says with a laugh. “For example, the story begins when young Eddie unexpectedly manifests as a werewolf on a scout camping trip and inadvertently eats two of his fellow scouts.” Sounds yummy!
